He was born in 1946 in Piraeus. Fofi Mouratidou started as a self-taughtperson and then decided to study painting, against all the obstacles that existed for a woman from the Art Academies. Her source of talent was also recognized by Alexandros Iolas, who had introduced the young artist in Greece and abroad.

Thematically, her painting is anthropocentric, inspired by the human form. One of the most famous Greek painters who has decorated hundreds of houses all over Greece with her wonderful compositions of flowers, walks and ports. She had made several solo exhibitions while participating with her works in many group exhibitions.
