What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it?

When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data displayed on the feedback form, as well as the visitor’s IP address in order to be able to check for spam emails.
If you upload images to our site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and export any location data from images on the site.
If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and site in a cookie. These are for your convenience, so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long do we keep your data?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that we can automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of keeping them in a monitoring queue.
For users who register on our site, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (they can not change the user name). Webmasters can also view and edit this information.
What rights do you have in your data?
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you may request that you obtain an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
