He was born in Athens in 1946. He is a graduate of the American College of Greece, holds a degree in law and political-economic sciences from the University of Athens. He studied music at the Athens Conservatory and at the “Studio” of the Vienna Opera. She appeared at the Vienna State Opera as a soloist in 1976-77 under the pseudonym Sofia Mazaraki. She is self-taught in painting. Since 1990, when he first appeared as a painter, he has held many solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

The painter adopts the Naif style, which is used to describe the work of self-taught artists. For its immediacy and authentic, natural expression. Like children, she unleashes her endless imagination on canvas. He creates images full of colour, reminiscent of folk art embroidery. It is expressed in a surreal way under the reassuring disguise of Naivism, but at the same time it extends to the present day and much further. The titles of her works convey the important role of narrative in her work, as well as her positive outlook on life.
  • Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
  • For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
  • The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
  • After the end of the reproduction, the plates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectability of the work.
  • The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
