Dimitris Chiotopoulos was born in Athens in 1963. He is a surgeon, a doctor at the University of Athens and an artist.

He has been involved in painting since 1976 and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and the Society of Greek Writers.

He has apprenticed with distinguished artists such as Dimitris Gavriilidis, Leonidas Papadopoulos, Daniel Daniel and Costas Grammatopoulos.

He has also created as a medical illustrator more than 20 books presenting various medical methods, surgeries and other medical procedures. In this field, Dimitris Chiotopoulos combines medical science with painting.

• Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
• For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
• The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
• After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
• The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
