Bodnia Valerios was born on 2 July 1970 in the city of Orheyev, Moldova. In 1981 he enrolled at the School of Fine Arts in his hometown. He studied for 4 years and graduated with “A”. In 1985 he enrolled at the School of Fine Arts in Kishinev, the capital of Moldova. He was one of the best student committee of the Faculty banned the subject of his thesis and asked him to do a thesis in the style of “Socialist Realism”. Since he disagreed with the artistic council, he left the School. That was the period of time when Perestroika started in the country, and the government changed. In 1993 he returned to the School of Fine Arts and graduated in 1994.In October 1997 he enrolled at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Since then he has taken part in group and personal exhibitions. He collaborates with galleries all over Greece.

His works can be found in private collections and public spaces in Europe and America.
