Artist’s CV
For Gilda Frumkin, a self-made visual artist since the age of six, painting is a way of life, expression and communication.
After twenty individual exhibitions, numerous participations in group exhibitions as well as in a series of Biennale festivals (Florence 2007, Smyrna 2009, London 2015 and 2021), the visual artist feels an increased need to create and communicate her art with the world. The theme with a special place for Gilda “Human Passage” represents (presents) objects that man has used, lusted after, connected to, loved and where he finally forgot. In conclusion, Gilda’s painting is driven by light, colors and scent.
“Teaching painting to adults since 1996, I would say that the most basic lesson I tried to convey was and is the sincerity of the creator as well as his love for uniqueness.”
