He was born in 1937 in Megali Gotista, Ioannina. He passed away in January 2022.

Studies: 1951 – 1956: He studies at the Zosimaia School of Ioannina where he attends his first painting lessons with George Kazakos. 1958 – 1962: he studies at the Painting School of Panos Sarafianos. 1962. Thanassis March. 1963 –1967: Studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts: Theoretical Art (1963 -1967), Painting in the studio of the Athens School of Fine Arts. Giannis Moralis (1963-1967), and in the field of Design and Scenography with a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation (1965-1967). 1984 – 1985. He studied Byzantine and folk art, and the painting of antiquity, from which he was influenced in his work. The content of his works mainly projects a reflection on the life phenomenon of fertility and death. He is a member of the EETE and a founding member of the Group of Copperplates.

  • Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
  • For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
  • The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
  • After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
  • The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
