He was born in Larissa in 1945. He studied Architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1963-1970), but eventually devoted himself to painting. In 1970 he won a prize at the Goethe Institute’s Young Painters’ Competition in Thessaloniki and in 1972 he won first prize at the Hellenic American Union’s Young Painters’ Competition. In 1976 he left on a scholarship from the French state to study painting in Paris.

There he met Alexandros Iolas and became familiar with contemporary artistic trends. He taught at the Department of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1982-1999) and in 2008 he was elected professor at the Athens School of Architecture, where he taught until 2012. In 2008 he created a permanent art installation for the “Eleonas” station of the Athens Metro. His works belong to many important public and private collections in Greece and abroad.

• Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
• For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
• The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
• After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
• The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
