He was born in Cairo, Egypt on February 4, 1941, while in 1963 he settled in Athens. Her family came from Crete and Santorini.

In Cairo he studied painting, ceramics at the American College and photography. In Greece she continued her studies at ASKT, enriching them with scenography and decoration. Her teachers include Giannis Moralis, Giorgos Mavroidis and Vassilis Vassiliadis.

She had her first exhibition in Cairo in 1962. In total he held more than 70 solo exhibitions and 450 participations in group exhibitions. He has also participated in international Biennales and Triennials. At the end of 2006 and the beginning of 2007 he held a large retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Cycladic Art.

He was a representative of geometric art in Greece. Her creations were influenced by Arab culture but also incorporated Greek elements. She was married since 1965 to Aleko Zounis, with whom she had two sons. She died of cancer, which he had been facing for twelve years, on December 5, 2008 in a hospital in Athens, where he had been hospitalized since September 25 of the same year.

• Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
• For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
• The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
• After the end of the reproduction, the plates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectability of the work.
• The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
