Manolis Haros was born in Kythira in 1960. He studied at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris (1978), printmaking and painting where he graduated with honours. He did his master’s degree at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs (1982) on the communication of the image. He is honored with the French National Prize des Prondations in the field of lithography and the French state buys his works (1984). In 1991 he travels to USA where the vodka Absolute uses his work for the its advertising campaign. In 1993 he designed together with M. Zacharioudakis for the National Gallery. In 1996 he designed the carton of the Hellenic National Book Centre. In 1998 he was awarded the Prize of the Academy of Athens for painter under 40 years. Working as a Visiting Artist at Princeton University (2000-2001). He has participated in important thematic exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

• Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
• For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
• The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
• After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
• The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
