The painter, sculptor and painter Christina Zervou was born in 1936 in Athens.
Initially, she studied French literature in Paris (1961-1965) and after her return to Greece, she attended painting classes with Dimitrios Giannukakis and Bea Davos (1968-1971).
Then (1976), with a German government scholarship (DAAD), she worked in Berlin.

She presented her work in solo and group exhibitions, participated in the 1971, 1973, 1975 and 1987 Panhellenic Exhibitions and in international events, such as the Biennale of Engraving in Ljubljana 1979, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1987, Frederikstad 1980, Baden-Baden 1981, Sao Paulo 1981, Bradford 1982, Biela in Italy 1983, etc. Christina Zervou died in 1988 in Athens. She was a member of EETE.

• Lithography is a printing technique which was invented around 1798 by A. Alois Senefelder, based on the fact that water and fats are never mixed.
• The subject or performance is drawn with greasy chalk on stone (porous limestone) or tin plate and then dried. When water runs on the designed surfaces, the greasy ink “catches” only in the places that are engraved and not in the wet stone.
