Sotiris Sorogas (Athens 1936) is a Greek painter. He studied with a state scholarship at the School of Fine Arts from where he graduated in 1961. He has had and still has numerous exhibitions sponsored by the Ministry of Culture in Greece and abroad. He was a professor at the National Technical University of Athens at the School of Architecture from 1964 to 2003. In 2004 he received an award for artistic contribution from the Academy of Athens. He is a co-founder of the Society for the Study of Greek Culture. In 2018, the President of the Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos awarded him the Order of Senior Brigadier of the Order of Honor.

Also in the same year, a retrospective exhibition was hosted at the Tellogleio Foundation with about ninety works from the entire artistic path of the painter.

• Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
• For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
• The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
• After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
• The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
