Takis Sideris was born in Athens in 1929 to parents from Asia Minor. He organized 44 solo painting exhibitions and published 10 books of literature. In 1962 he received the 2nd prize for painting at the Panhellenic Youth Exhibition of the Italian Institute. His works are in the National Gallery, the Vorre Museum and many other collections in Greece and abroad. He illustrated books including: The Rebetika songs of Ilias Petropoulos and the Reading “My language” of the 4th grade.

He did free studies near G. Sikelioti. It belongs to the field of artists who were nourished by the principles of Greekness. The subjects of folk ethnographies or Greek landscapes, highlight the poetry of an idealized everyday life with a special sensitivity to color.

• Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
• For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
• The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
• After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
• The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
