Yiannis Moralis was born in Arta in 1916 and died in Athens in 2009.During his school years he attended the Sunday painting classes at the Athens School of Fine Arts. In 1931, after passing the entrance examinations, he enrolled in the preparatory section of the School, where he studied under Dimitrios Geraniotis. Later he studied in the workshops of Konstantinos Parthenis and Umbertos Argyros, and from 1933 he attended evening classes in the engraving workshop of Yannis Kefallinos.

• Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
• For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
• The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
• After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
• The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
