He studied painting at the School of Fine Arts at the beginning of the century and then continued his studies in Paris.

He was appointed professor of Graphic Design and Freelance Painting and from 1919 he was appointed temporary professor of painting at the School of Architecture of the Technical University of Athens, where he taught until his death. He also made a few hagiographies.

It should be noted that he was one of the first to try to restore Byzantine models in the painting of churches. He decorated the summer theatre of Tripoli in 1912.

He organized solo exhibitions (in his studio 1916, Nea Atelier 1929). He took part in group exhibitions. He was a founding member of the SEK.
