Sarantis Karavouzis, best known for his painting, turned to engraving in 1969. They followed the mixed model of “painters-engravers”, who wanted, through their engravings, to communicate more widely with the public.

He has created woodcuts, linographies, copperplates, tin lithographs, silkscreens and monotypes.

• Screen printing is the exact reproduction of limited copies of an original work.
• For reproduction, a silk grid is used stretched on a crate, hence the term Silkscreen, and as many crates as the colors of the work are used.
• The papers used for reproduction are cotton handmade 280-300gr type Fabriano.
• After the reproduction, the crates are destroyed by the painter to ensure the collectibility of the work.
• The Silkscreens are signed and numbered in pencil by the painter (numbering on the left and signature on the right) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
