He was born in 1953 in Kostaniani, Ioannina. A student already in high school took the first painting lessons with the Gianniotis painter Georgios Kazakos. He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, in the engraving workshop of Kostas Grammatopoulos , from where he graduated with the distinction “Prize of craft works”. In the period 1986-1988 he received a three-year scholarship from IKY for postgraduate studies in domestic engraving. In 2008 he received from the Academy of Athens the 1st prize of the “Class of letters and fine arts”. In his works he gives views from neighborhoods of old Athens from residential and non-neoclassical houses as well as from traditional provincial houses.

His works are found in banks, public organizations and in many private collections in Greece, Cyprus, USA, Canada, England, Belgium, France, Germany. Also at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Hyatt Regency hotels in Thessaloniki and King George in Athens. He has 19 solo exhibitions to his credit and has participated in a number of group exhibitions. In 2017, the Municipality of Ioannina honorably organized in the mainland capital its solo exhibition in the context of the celebrations of the liberation of the city, with themes exclusively of Epirus.
