Andreas Galiotos was born in Piraeus. He studied at the Doxiadis School, Painting and Graphic Arts, with Mytaras, Georgiadis and Vassiliadis as their main teachers. His studies were perfected at the Higher German School of Painting and at the Bozar School in Paris.
He started his professional career with landscapes and still lifes and continued his evolutionary course with works inspired by the Renaissance. In recent years he specializes in portraits with traditional and new innovative techniques.
The techniques are airbrush, brush and spatula that work on classic materials such as tarpaulin, crate, wall and metal.
A quirky innovative technique is airbrushing on clear Plexiglas, in which the artwork is internalized with transparency colors so that the work can be illuminated if needed.
He has participated three times in the exhibition “ARTISTICO” at the Athens Exhibition Centre. He is a member of the Greek Chamber of Visual Arts (E.E.T.E.).
