Artist’s CV
Konstantinos Rammos was born in 1955 in Larissa. She studied painting and set design at the Athens School of Fine Arts and art aesthetics at ArtsPlastiques ParisI, Sorbonne in Paris.
During his studies he was a scholarship holder of the I.K.Y. and was awarded a semi-nude and composition prize. He graduated from the ASFA in 1981 with honors. In the same year he had his first solo exhibition in Athens, at the art gallery “The Third Eye”.
Prior to this exhibition he had participated in various group exhibitions, such as at the School of Fine Arts in Krakow, in Poland, at the French Institute in Athens, etc. In 1982 he received a scholarship from the French government to study art aesthetics in Paris.
There he took part in several group exhibitions, In 1983 he had his second solo exhibition in Athens. Upon his return from Paris, he has his third solo exhibition and since then he has presented his work in 25 solo and more than 200 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
He has also illustrated several books and literary publications.
In 1987 he participates in the Panhellenic Art Exhibition in Athens.
In 1988 he exhibited in Tours, France, New York, Valencia, Spain and Cyprus. In 1998 he takes part in the group exhibition “Focal Points of the Gaze” in Brussels. In 2005 he represented Greece in the international painting exhibition Europ.Art in Geneva. In 2007 he has a solo exhibition at the Argo Gallery in Athens.
In 2010 he takes part in the exhibition of the Grand Palais – Salon des Indépendants Paris 2010 and exhibits at Galerie Etienne de Causans in Paris.
In 2011 he has a solo exhibition at Argo Gallery in Athens.
In 2012 solo exhibition in Chania – Crete in the framework of ChaniArt.
In 2013 solo exhibition at ArtGallery in Alexandroupolis.
In 2018 solo exhibition at Argo Gallery in Athens.
His work has been presented by the media in newspapers and magazines as well as in radio and television broadcasts.
His works can be found in the Greek Parliament, in Greek banks and in many private collections in Greece and abroad. He lives and works in Athens.
