Artist’s CV
Maria Ktistopoulou was born in Athens in 1948. She studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts with professors Triantafyllos Patraskidis, Martinos Gavathas and Marina Lambrakis-Plakas. He was honored with three state scholarships from the I.K.Y. She graduated with honors in 1990. She also studied Graphic Arts at the Athens Institute of Technology (ATI) Her works are included in the following collections: National Gallery, Athens – Kouvoutsaki Gallery, Kifissia – Vorre Museum, Paania – Ermoupoli Municipal Gallery – Museum Modern Art of Florina – Strati Eleftheriadis Museum-Library (Teriade), Varia Mytilini – Vlassi Frisiras Collection – Costas Ioannidis Collection Ms. He organized nine solo exhibitions.
He took part in more than seventy group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. In 2007, a book – monograph about her work was published by Adam publications.
