Artist’s CV
Faidon Patrikalakis was born in Drama. He studied at the Academie du Feu and the Ecole de Dessin Applique a la Mode Historique in Paris. He worked as a set designer, costume designer at the Karolos Koun Art Theatre, the National Theater of Athens, the State Theater of Thessaloniki, various municipal regional theaters, as well as well-known theaters in Athens and abroad. He published three albums with texts and oil pastels: Agios Oros-Kythnos, Amorgos, Oia and the books: The stone of the sling, Phaedon, Traveling in painting. History of scenography, The realistic, the erotic and the transcendental in painting, Healed with music, An elephant in a monastery, A transcendental event and India, a land where men fly and birds walk.
