Artist’s CV

Stefanos Daskalakis was born in Piraeus in 1952. He studied painting at the School of Fine Arts in Athens, in the Studio of Giorgos Mavroidis (1970-74).

He continued his studies in Lyon and Paris (1978-81). He later attended Leonardo Cremonini’s Workshop at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris as a student.

His works can be found in the National Gallery, in the Collection of the National Bank of Greece, in the Collection of the B & E Goulandris Foundation, in the Telloglio Art Foundation of Athens, in the Kouvoutsakis Gallery, in the Sotiris Feliu Collection, in the Antonis and Azia Hatziioannou Collection, in the Thanasis Michaelidis Collection , as well as in other private collections in France, Belgium and Greece.

In 2014 he was honored with the Prize of the Academy of Athens for his entire artistic creation.

He lives and works in Athens.
