Artist’s CV
Achilleas Aivazoglou was born in Thessaloniki in 1948.
He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts with teacher Yannis Moralis and portable image and fresco with Mr. Xynopoulos. He also studied decoration at the Vakalos School (1968-1971), painting at ASKT and fresco painting (1974-1979). He draws his subjects from the familiar surroundings of everyday life.
His painting is dominated by the use of semitones in order to balance colors and three-dimensional space.
His works are in the Ministry of Culture, the Land Bank, the Municipal Galleries of Patras, Lamia, Karditsis, Mytilini, the Museum of the City of Athens and other private and public collections
