Constantinos Xenakis (French: Constantin Xenakis) (December 28, 1931 – June 5, 2020) was a poet, sculptor and visual artist, who was born in Cairo and later settled permanently in Paris, while from the 90s he divided his time between Paris and of Athens. He is considered an important representative of postmodern art and his works are known for their semiotics and the combination of codes, letters of various alphabets, and various objects, according to the artist’s personal style.
